5 ½'' San Pedro limestone ax head is hafted with desert mesquite. The head is secured into the handle with sinew and rawhide. The handle is wrapped with elk skin and deer lace Turk's head knots, and decorated with wood and stone beads. The ax includes a stand made of reindeer antler. Overall length 15''.
