Forged Steel and Ironwood Menorah
Detail of the riveted foot.
Branch emerging from the bark below.
Detail of the u-pins.

A very unusual and beautiful menorah, with a hand-forged steel frame and a spectacular gnarled crosspiece of rich grained black and yellow desert ironwood, polished and lacquered.

The shamas holder is brass and copper, heat-colored and patinaed.

A copper rivet pierces the steel frame to secure the steel frame to the ironwood base support, and copper u-pins secure the crosspiece to the frame.

The candle cups are brass, hand-filed and patinaed.

The menorah is 15’’ across and 7’’ high.

One of a kind!
