Rifleman's Long Knife

Hand-forged from spring steel, this is a serious blade for the Revolutionary, mountain man or Civil War re-enactor. The blade is a ¼” thick at the guard and tapers to a wicked point 12.5” down the road. The guard is also hand forged, with twisted quills and filework. The hand-filling bone grip is polished smooth and capped with a forged steel pommel. All metal parts are patinaed to a dark grey finish.

The heavy welted leather sheath is hand stitched and wet molded to the blade for a snug fit, and finished with a braided horsehair “scalplock”. The integral 2.5” loop allows placement on a belt or sash.

The blade is 12.5” long and 1.25” wide at the guard. The bone grip is 6” long, and the guard id 4.5” wide.
