Indian Powderhorn

An unusual horn based on an museum Indian horn. The hand-carved pine base fits tightly in the oval base. The horn body has been intricately incised with patterned lines and circles, and the spout is carved with a ring. A brass eye provides strap attachment to the base. A carved antler plugs the spout.

The horn is 9.25’’ long along the back curve and the base is 3” x 2’’.
