Screw-Tip Flattened Bag Powderhorn

A diminutive bag or primer horn with a beautiful antiqued color and grain. The spout is carved with three discs and a strap groove. The 7-faceted horn spout plug has a threaded shaft. The oval orange agate wood base is carved to fit the flat horn, set with copper nails and finished with tung oil. A twisted copper strap ring is semi-recessed into the base.

The horn is only 9” overall, and 1.75” thick, and 2.75” wide at the base.
