A slender and elegant horn with a pronounced double twist, for right-side carry. The neck and base are decorated with engrailed Fish mouth Tansel-style carvings. The recessed body is stained a rich dark brown.

The turned spout with fiddle peg plug is basswood, as is the weathered, hand-carved oval base plug. An iron staple is provided for the strap. Base and spout are secured with small brass tacks.

The horn body is 12.5" along the back curve, overall length from base to spout plug is 16.5". The oval base is 2.25” by 3”.
