A new version of this unusual tomahawk, based on the one carried by the character Magua in the movie Last of the Mohicans.
The high-carbon steel spiked blade is hand-forged to shape and pierced with a rectangle like the original, and finished with a satin smooth plum brown patina. The hardened edge is 2.75” long, and the overall length is 8.25”.
The 20” maple haft is stained a deep mahogany and finished with hand-rubbed tung oil. The cone-carving provides a firm grip.
This is a brutal-looking weapon, and matches perfectly the character who wielded it.
