This unusual tomahawk is based on the one carried by the character Magua in the movie Last of the Mohicans, and was done in partnership with a bladesmith in Tucson, AZ.

The steel spiked blade is hand-forged to shape and pierced with a rectangle like the original, and finished with a dark patina. The hardened edge is 3” long, and the overall length is 7.5”.

The long 24” maple haft is burned dark, stained and oiled. The cone-carving provides a firm grip.

This is a brutal-looking weapon, and matches perfectly the character who wielded it.

See the companion knife for this piece.
