A commissioned piece based on the movie prop photo from The Last of the Mohicans, used in several of the battle scenes, including the climactic final fight with Magua. The club is hand-carved from straight-grained maple, finished with Federal Blue milk paint, and rubbed smooth. A circular arrangement of 17 brass tacks is applied on each side to match the original.
The broad spear-point blade is formed from weathered ¼” steel, hand-cut, pierced and formed, then hardened and tempered.
The club is 36” long and 5” wide at the butt. The blade is 4.5” long and 2.5” wide at the base. |
