Bison Pistol Horn With Twisted Wire for Sale

A small (female) bison powder horn, perfect for a pistol, priming powder, or for a day bag. The domed base plug is turned from spalted maple with an integral turned finial for strap attachment, and has a twisted brass wire inlay along the base. The base is secured with small brass tacks. The spout is turned from antler and horn, and secured to the body with small brass pins. The spout plug is turned from a fiddle peg.

The horn  is 12” along the back curvefrom finial to spout plug. The base is 2.25” in diameter.
