Forged Boot Knife

SOLD: $190

A classic forged boot knife with a carved antler grip. The spring steel blade is hand-forged into a traditional single-edged dagger point, pattern-filed along the back, with a browned finish. A patinaed copper bolster is formed around the dark antler grip. The crown is carved with a sun face. A hard rawhide sheath sewn with sinew provides the finishing touch.

The knife is 11 “ overall, with a 6” blade. 3/16” thick at the bolster.

Architecture and award-winning museum-quality custom handmade knives, edged weapons, powder horns, tomahawks, war clubs, jewelry, metal sculpture, cribbage boards, flint and obsidian knives, Japanese swords, menorahs, and more from Tucson, Arizona artist and architect Larry Gotkin.
