Forged Presentation Pipe Tomahawk

Sold: $495

A clean and simple presentation pipe tomahawk with classic lines. The blade is hand-forged from carbon tool steel and filed to shape. The blade has an early straight shape, with filed relief at the juncture of blade and bowl. The pipe bowl is oval with a square base. The edge is hardened, and the head is patinaed a dark blue. A walnut fiddle peg acts as a cleanout plug.

The tomahawk handle is curly ash, finished with a medium maple stain and several hand-rubbed layers of tung oil. The upper portion is decorated with tiny intricate brass tack work in a band below the blade and a scroll design on each side. A feather with wood and bone beadwork hangs from the drop. A copper cone provides the mouthpiece.

The head is 7’’ long, with a 1.75’’ edge. The blade is3.5’ long. The tomahawk is 20.5’’ long from mouthpiece to plug. » read customer feedback
