Scalloped Blade Poll Tomahawk

Sold: $380

A sturdy but elegant Poll Tomahawk with a scalloped lower blade and filework on the bowl and eye. The blade is 4140 tool steel with a hardened and tempered edge. The poll was created by hot-plugging a pipe bowl with a steel insert. The blade is finished in a plum brown patina.

The haft is “roasted” maple, carved with a palm swell. Roasting is a heat treatment which stabilizes and strengthens the wood handle. There is a slight amount of curl in the grip. » read customer feedback

The head is 7” long overall with a 2.5” blade. The hawk is 18” long.
