A sturdy sheep’s-foot poll tomahawk, hand-forged from a ball-pein hammer. This tomahawk is completely hand-forged and filed and shaped from carbon steel.

The octagonal poll head sits on a four-sided column with a stepped bade. The eye is heavy, with a stepped fuller filed at the base of the blade. The blade is finished in a plum brown patina.

The haft is lignum vitae, a dense heavy wood with an interlocked grain. The lower section has a swelled grip with a pigskin wrap, and lined with conical brass tacks.

The head is 7” long overall with a 3.5” blade. The hawk is 17” long.
